Hello puppies!

A busy day for BMDR Romania. With a few lucky dogs leaving, bound mainly for Germany (we’ll tell you about them separately), the team have already had a full week. But today, with news of puppies in need, BMDR was there to provide safety.

Someone in the village rescued this little soul who had been abandoned and asked that we find her a home.

There are so many good people in Romania but no national animal welfare charities or local infrastructure to turn to for dogs in need.

This is why we do what we do. In our small corner of Romania, there's BMDR.

Then more news of pups. Two, one week old puppies found in the city in a bin.

One is with us, the other is safe with a woman who will bottle feed too.

So new to the world and already such harsh circumstances faced. Safe now though.❤️

***Warning. Upsetting photos to follow.***

Ionut the best lad and our youngest rescuer who lives in the village, is our eyes and ears to what is going on.

Tonight, he found five abandoned pups. He's brought them to our small shelter. They've been treated so the ticks will drop off quickly. They'll be built up with good food then wormed too, until they're strong enough to vaccinate.

Please help if you can.
