These three lovely dogs are Max, Lucy and Lena.
Lucy and Lena were rescued by Claudia and Cosmin at 3 months old more than a year ago. They had been dumped in a field.
Big Max was coming to Claudia's garden to be fed all winter but she couldn't catch him. He was full of ticks, skinny and sad. After a few months of good food and care, he started to look great. Also he started to trust them and they were able to bring him inside and give him shelter.
Suddenly an 'owner' appeared. He said he left his dogs to fend for themselves all winter but now he wanted Max to work as a shepherd.
Claudia moved fast to make sure Max was safe. He was moved to a paid foster place.
All three dogs have now travelled to a major UK rescue which so kindly offered them places.
BMDR has made this possible by offering to cover preparation costs for all three and accommodation for Max in his safe place. The total needed is £350
