Jeremy is a truly lovely boy who has only been in the UK for a few weeks. As so often happens with black dogs, he was overlooked for so long in our shelter. He is small/medium sized and has a wee stump for a tail. He has now been given his time to shine in his wonderful foster home and is proving to be a super friendly boy.
In such a short space of time, he has done so well - he has started with his basic training, including toilet training and going out on his lead to the park for walks. He has been enjoying meeting new people, new dogs and visiting new places, with gentle introductions being handled by his foster mum.
Jeremy would suit a home with another friendly canine companion, from whom he can learn the ropes and lean on for confidence. As Jeremy is still in the early days of settling into UK life, his adopter would need to be willing to continue with his basic training, socialisation and exposure to new things.
We are seeking a local adoption for this friendly boy in order to help ease the transition for him. His adopter would need to be willing to visit him a few times.
Jeremy could live with cats as lives with a cat in his foster home although we would always encourage appropriate introductions to take place. As he has not lived with children before, Jeremy would need a child free home.
