Saphira, born 2013
Saphira was one of our rescued church dogs. These were a group of 18 dogs who were chained to pillars around a courtyard in a seminary, and fed twice a week. Saphira is 51 cms to the shoulder and may settle as an only dog in a savvy home given plenty of opportunity for meeting doggie chums. She would prefer though, as most of our dogs, a pal in the home to learn from and for friendship.
Lovely Saphira has now at last tested negatve for heartworm and is ready for a new life. Saphira is a shelter favourite and loves when she can have some attention and a fuss from volunteers.
