Dear Solly is one of our favourite boys in the shelter. He and brother Sammy came to safety together, with us, from the public shelter when it was still a killing post. They were only about 7 months then. Even then they were so friendly and obviously had been someone’s dogs. Boys were like carbon copies of each other in s different colour. They waited and waited.
Then Sammy was adopted to Germany earlier in 2022
Solly remains. He is a super boy, and has sussed squeezing out the bottom of the door in his pen  - when none of his pals can. He then runs to Ion for a fuss. He demonstrated this several times when we visited in September - swapping Ion’s affection for some attention from the volunteers. He loved going for walks each day then too. 
Solly is Lab sized but leaner. He would be looking for another dog in the home to lean on for the transition period. Solly would suit a fairly active home, somewhere he could exercise his brain too.
