Tom, born March 2019

Tom, born March 2019

*AVAILABLE FOR FOSTER* Tom came to the UK as a young puppy in August 2019. Tom settled well, however, sadly due to a young member of the family’s epilepsy, Tom has recently become quite nervous and unsure. He is finding things quite difficult at the moment and with his adopter dealing with their own health complaints, we are now seeking a foster home for this boy. Tom currently lives with a resident dog, and in the words of his adopter is “playful and patient”. He enjoys his walks and gets on well with other dogs he meets. He can be wary of strangers at first but fine after appropriate introductions. He can be nervous in some new situations, and we feel a quiet, calm home with a friendly resident dog would suit this boy. Tom knows his basic commands but needs some continued training with some things, such as recall. We are seeking an experienced and active home, who would be willing to work on this with him. Tom is house trained and can be left for short periods - although we would prefer he had someone around during the day as he is used to this. He also travels well in the car. Tom is medium sized with long legs, so experience with larger dogs is preferable. We are unable to consider a home with children. Tom needs some time to decompress and a place to relax where he can build his confidence again - if you can help this lovely boy please get in touch. Please note, we may consider a foster as an only dog if the home has previous rescue experience. Tom is currently in Worcestershire but we can consider applications from surrounding areas.
