HELLO
We’re Barking Mad Dog Rescue. We’re a UK registered charity (1160985) working to improve the lives of abandoned dogs in Romania.
We have a hands-on team in Romania at our shelters in Constanta , where we care for around 400 dogs and puppies, many of whom have been rescued from unimaginable abuse and neglect.
We also provide food to another shelter with over 100 dogs elsewhere in Romania.
In total, we feed around 500 dogs every single day.
We aim to rehome as many of the saved dogs as we can.
In the UK, we have a team of volunteer adoption specialists working with potential adopters and foster carers across the country. Although we aim to rehome as many of the saved dogs as we can, some unfortunately will never be suitable to make that journey. These dogs are available for sponsor here.

DOG OF THE MONTH
Olaf
Olaf, alongside his brothers and sisters, is an slightly older pup, born last September. Coca is so hoping that these soft young dogs are able to find a home before they disappear into her shelter as forgotten dogs, like so many in Romania.
Olaf is likely to make lab height but leaner, maybe a little smaller. He is here really to represent his siblings too, Olga, Ofra and Olivia for the girls and Ozzie and Oreo, his brothers. These are nice, soft young dogs and are awaiting adoptive or foster homes as a step out to a more enriching life.
