Claudia and Cosmin picked up this girl last week - she had a deep wound on her neck. A German sponsor named her GERTRUD.
She was very difficult to handle at first - she was so scared and biting everyone who came near. Now that she feels safe and realises she’s with kind people, she has finally mellowed.
Gertrud is just home from having an operation on her wound, which is looking so much better. She was also spayed, tested and microchipped. Such a brave girl.
