PUPS
Pups will need someone at home for as long as it takes for them to grow up and settle in the family. And more often than not, our dogs, including pups, need another dog in the home. This helps them settle in so much - almost like a translator and guide to show the way.
Please also be mindful of the energy that is brought with a young pup. This may not be the best for an old dog who just wants some peace! We want things to work for you all.
We have a lovely team of friendly, experienced volunteers who will guide you through the process, plus in house behavioural support.
You may think we are over the top in our screening process and perhaps you are right. With so many successful adoptions of all ages of dogs, we know what we need to ask to make sure everyone is being set up for success.
