Adena, born 2014
Adena was another of those dogs from the church seminary. Two years ago we were asked by a priest to help with 18 dogs as they were no longer allowed to stay where they were. The horror that we found was 18 dogs chained in the open by one metre lengths, with food only three days a week and water on occasion. Adena, like her companions, had heartworm too. All dogs have been so friendly, despite their ordeal. Adena has completed her treatment for heartworm and is ready to come home. Adena isn’t very big, maybe 48 cms to the shoulder ish, and 15/16 kgs. She would, like all our dogs, prefer a home with another friendly dog to help her overcome her shyness in her new situation.
