This is a super girl who came from the dog catchers to safety with us in 2018. She is a super friendly lass with all the visitors in the shelter. On top of this, she gets on really well with the other dogs in her pen. Alana could possibly be an only dog in the right home where she had good access to a strong network of doggy friends to tap into. Alana is around 58 cms to the shoulder - around lab sized -  and looks like there is a fair bit of retriever in her recent ancestry. Alana tested positive for heartworm but has been on the longer treatment for a while now so can be restested  - we so hope she is negative now.
