Alana, born December 2019
Alana is one of four sweet girls who were rescued with their brother Alistair by someone in the village and brought to our shelter. The five tiny pups had been dumped by the side of a busy road. They were just a few feet from being run over. Sadly parvo swept through them and Alistair wasn’t strong enough to survive, but his four sisters did and are strong, happy and playful pups. We think these pups will be medium-sized dogs. Perhaps collie size though most likely a little smaller. These pups could each be adopted as only dogs where they had access to a good social network of other dogs. However, as with most of our shelter dogs, having another friendly dog in the home can make the transition to home life much easier on them.
