Alfie came from our fellow rescuer Ramona when she was taking dogs from the street to be neutered. Alfie was way too sweet to be put back and could not have lasted long on the street as he was so soft. He must have been newly abandoned.
Alfie was found with the three pups, Nell, Naomi and Natalia and given their fluffiness, we are assuming that he is the dad. He is standing around 47cms to the shoulder, so not really very big. Alfie is friends with all the dogs in his pen but also he loves the team and is people oriented in the shelter. We think Alfie would be fine as an only dog though would also settle with a friendly canine companion.
