Conchita, March 22, Dundee
Conchita arrived before Christmas into her foster home in Dundee. Her foster parents have been working hard to help her get used to life as someone's dog. Conchita is now walking out daily, comfortable with her carers, having fun in the garden and doing all the things a puppy should be doing. She is clean in the house too.
Conchita is very bonded with her foster dad and starting now to trust and work with other members of the family. She has doggy pals she meets up with now on her walks. She has met calm children and has been fine too. Conchita also has discovered her toys and loves to play with her foster dad with these.
Conchita was rescued, along with her siblings, locally from an area around Poarta Alba. This village also has a port on the Midia canal where the pups were in danger of the heavy traffic. Conchita was booked to come to the UK before the transport ban, so we are very happy that her foster family waited for her anyway.
Conchita will definitely need an active home with another fun and friendly dog she can play with and learn from. Conchita will need a home within visiting distance of Dundee to allow a gradual transition to her forever home.
