Gabby, Oct 2017

This lovely dog doesn't deserve to be seeking  a new home again. Sadly though, this is the case, through a difficult change in her adopter's circumstances. Gabby needs to find her happy ever after. She came as a pup to a foster home before being happily adopted. Gabby was then surrendered due to her family being in a situation that they had no control over. It was very upsetting for them. Gabby was lucky enough to be adopted by someone working in the kennels where she was waiting to be rehomed. And now he too can't keep her.

Gabriela had settled well in her current adoptive home.  She is an only dog in the home and currently goes to work at the kennels with her adopter. She is surrounded by other dogs at times but mainly prefers to keep her own company, especially if they are high energy. Gabby travels in the car happily.  This year she has seen a lot more of the wider world, becoming more used to going out and new situations. Her adopter describes her as low maintenance. She is content to sleep when home after a busy day at work with him.

As with any dog, Gabby would need time to adapt to a new situation and new people. Her adopter says that she would be fine as an only dog but equally, an older canine pal too, would work.

Gabby is not cat tested.  She is labrador sized.
