Gustav is a lovely young dog who came to us from the public shelter via a kind woman who knew him and cared for him on the street since he was a small pup. The dog catchers had taken him and his poor carer had nowhere to bring him to that was safe. Gustav was known then as Piciu and though his sponsor named him Gustav he does know his name (pronounced Pichioo). This is such a friendly lad. Gustav is around 54cms to the shoulder - collie height - and weighs around 22kgs. Gustav might be OK as an only dog in a savvy home where he was able to have interaction with other local dogs. However, it is so much easier for our dogs to assimilate when there is another dog to lean on in the home.
