Our beautiful girl Indi is looking for a new home and is currently being fostered in Glasgow. She arrived to the UK in July 2018 as a young pup, but has only been in foster since early March 2020 after a change in circumstances for her adopters. She has moved from rural Nairn in the north of Scotland, to the heart of busy Glasgow and has coped amazingly.
Her foster mum calls her an absolute sweetheart of a dog. She has settled so well - friendly with her foster family and gets on great with her doggy foster siblings. She has the look of a collie in size and build, with a curly tail.
Indi is great with other dogs and is really enjoying having other dogs for company and to play with, so would need a home with at least one other friendly dog for company.
She knows her basic commands including a good recall, is clean in the house and settles well in her crate. She can be wary of new men but warms quickly with the right approach and a handful of treats.
Indi would benefit from a calm home, with a savvy adopter who is willing to continue her basic training, socialisation and exposure to new things to help her continue to grow in confidence. She is an active girl and we think would do well in things like agility for mental and physical stimulation.
We are seeking a local adoption for her, or at least an adopter who is willing to travel to meet up with her a couple of times, in order to help with the transition as she has already been through so much change. She is such a loving girl.
