Joey, Sept 23

Joey is a delight of a young dog who is so needing out of the place he is in. We know Joey well. He is stuck down the road with a guy who 'rescues' dogs but is clueless as to their welfare. We wish we had room to take all his dogs but our shelter is so full with new cases coming in every day.

Of course, we feed his dogs and make sure they are cared for as much as we can but our team is stretched too. Joey and sister Ronja are living in a cattle truck with no views to the outside.  The man there does not listen to advice. Nevertheless, these young dogs are people friendly once they have had time to get to know you,  and so ready for a home.

Joey would need another friendly dog in the home to lean on for the transition. His adopters would need to be home most of the day, at least to start. We are open to foster offers too,  of course.
