We believe Kenzo to be around 4 or 5 years old. Kenzo is a dog rescued from our local public shelter. There, the state employed vet must put a dog's age on his documents and more often than not, it is a wild guess. Kenzo would have been very subdued and scared there too, not able to express his fun side. 
In his foster home, Kenzo is sweet, quiet, fully housetrained, is not destructive, hardly ever barks and welcomes visitors of all ages and genders. He is very alert, fit and active, although he does calm down easily when there is nothing going on around him. He is a very clever dog and picks up on new training very quickly.
Kenzo is a very confident dog and is rarely nervous or hyperactive.  He loves to be around people! He loves his walks and the confidence he shows at home continues when he’s out and about.
Kenzo would love to live with someone who is around most of the time and although he can live with other dogs, he would be equally happy to be an only dog or perhaps with a dog-savvy cat.
