Layla, 2013

Layla, lovely Layla!

This super girl came into her fosterplace earlier July and, just like Lupo, has shown everyone what an adaptable, sweet girl she is. We had got to know Layla over the years. She has been stuck in a shelter we support with food and vet care.. Her chance has finally come to shine.

Layla is small lab sized. She may need another dog in the home but is growing in confidence every day. Her foster mum says Layla looks to her human for reassurance if she has doubts about anything.  Layla is an active dog who loves to run at the dog park where the fence is safely high enough. She is not ready for offlead work yet but is improving so much as each day goes by.  Her adopter would need to be prepared to walk Layla on a lead and to work on her  recall.  Being an older dog, who once lived on the street, this may take some time! However, Layla walks so politely on her lead.

Potential adopters will neeed to be localish to where Layla is to allow for as many meets and greets as possible. This helps for a seamless transition to a new home.

Layla will be suported through our older dog scheme but we are always grateful if the amount  it has cost us to get our foster dogs over, can be donated, when possible.
