Lucia, born January

Lucia was one of four puppies we rescued from the communal dustbins last month. It was one of the coldest days of the year and they had been dumped and left to die. Sadly one puppy died but Paolo and his sisters Celia and Lucia spent some days at the vet and had all recovered well from their parvo virus. Lucia then had some post viral problems. Luckily, she was under the care of a great foster mum and a super vet. With tender and attentive nursing, she is now a bouncing pup again. Lucia will be ready for adoption in May. We think she will be reasonbly small but of course there are no guarantees.
