Nelson is everyone’s favourite guy. He came to us from the public shelter way back in 2017, with heartworm. He has been treated and is so full of character. Nelson gets on well with all the dogs in his pen and positively adores when he gets a chance to come out for some attention. Nelson is around 50 cms to the shoulder and weighs maybe 20 kgs. His thick coat probably accounts for much of that! Nelson would be happiest with another dog but equally, we believe would be OK too in a home as the only dog as long as he had access to canine friends locally for social times and interaction.
