Patrick is such a friendly lad in the shelter. It is sad to see him waiting so long before he is someone’s dog again. Patrick came from the public shelter to us in August 2018. So really was still only a pup when the dog catchers had taken him. We think he was either someone’s pup who was then abandoned, or was looked after and handled by someone local if he had been born and lived on the street as he is so happy to see people and get some attention. Patrick is collie sized, around 54cms to the shoulder and maybe 23kg. Given that this lad lives with canine company all the time, we feel he would find the transition easier if there was another friendly dog in the home.
