Gorgeous Pietro is one of our favourite dogs in the main shelter. He was a street dog who obviously had been well cared for and loved by someone local, before the dog catchers put an end to that. Pietro has so much going for him. He is so friendly with people in the shelter.
Sadly, he wears the black dog cloak of invisibility. We hope someone can see through this and wave a wand to offer him a home. Pietro is Lab sized, and around 22kgs.
As an black dog, he may be eligible for a part funded adoption.
Pietro may be comfortable as an only dog but we think it would be better for him to be rehomed with a confident canine companion.
