Rambler was dumped on the streets by his owner. By the time he was rescued, he was starving and highly stressed. His owner was traced as the dog was actually chipped, but he didn't want him back. He was known then as Rocky. We believe he was beaten and often went hungry. He was food aggressive and scared to start. Rambler is relaxing into being a sweet dog. Moving him to an adoptive home would leave him stressed again for a while but with experienced adopters he would settle just like he has in the shelter.
