Dear Smokey has been through so much but we hope now she will get the chance she so deserves. This little dog was taken by the dog catchers and gave birth to two pups in the public shelter. Both died within days. Smokey came out to our shelter and we noticed one front leg was very buckled. Smokey went to see our surgeon in Bucharest, where she had her leg reset and pinned with an external brace. It looked horrible but did the trick. Smokey is walking well now. She can be shy with new people and would need a home with another friendly dog so lean on for the transition.
