Willow, born 2013

Willow, born 2013

This dear dog is one of the famous church dogs we rescued from a life of hell in a seminary. Eighteen friendly and lovely dogs were chained on very short chains to pillars in a courtyard, fed three times a week and rarely given water. They had no shelter either. All have had heartworm. Willow came through this and has also tested negative after a lengthy treatment. She is medium sized - around 48 cms to the shoulder.

Willow was adopted to the Northern Isles but sadly her adoption did not work out. Willow is now in foster in the Highlands. She would be happiest as an only dog in the home as long as she had access to friends with whom she could interact and play. Willow is great pals with a visiting Romanian dog but can be dominant with her house mate, who is very soft natured. Willow is very people oriented and would relish to be someone's girl. A local - ish home is sought please for Willow so multiple visits can take place to make her adoption transition easy.
