Some weeks are harder than others. Some weeks draw an anger and a feeling of futility that wells deep from inside. Someone in the village asked help with this dog's ear... He has been on that chain for twelve years. Twelve years a slave. The owner hadn't noticed that the chain had also grown into his neck. He is doing OK now. Anaemic but stronger by the day.
