Donated aid from wonderful dog lovers in all four corners of the UK converged in Wiltshire a few weeks ago. This was sorted and packed onto pallets for dispatch to Romania. Puppy and adult food, crates, beds, buckets, bedding, poopscoops, toys and so much more left this Friday for a week in transit to Deva, in Eastern Romania.
From Deva internal transports will take it onwards to various destinations. There is a pallet each for Aurelia in Craiova, Mariana in Bucharest, Coca in Calarasi, Aura in Constanta and 6 for our main shelter in Nisipari.
Our hearts were in our mouths as the forklift carried each one to the lorry, there were one or two slightly wobbly loads. All were successfully loaded though. Phew!
