Santa comes to our village.
Over the last few months, kind people in the UK have been making up Christmas shoeboxes for the children in the village where our shelter is in Nisipari, Constanta. These boxes we brought to regional collection points then moved them all to one central place where they were packed carefully and sent out to Romania with a haulier.
This weekend past, the Romanian team went round every house in the village to deliver a shoebox to each child. With nearly 300 shoeboxes, it was a marathon effort which took two full days.
At the same time, people were asked to bring their pets to be neutered once the weather warms up a little.
