Smokey is a loving young dog who came into our care earlier this year from the public shelter. She had a tiny puppy there, whom we think she gave birth to prematurely with the shock of being taken by the dog catchers. The pup didn't make it. Two weeks ago we were able to send Smokey through to the trauma surgeon we use in Bucharest. Her left leg was bowed out and we were sure it was an old fracture from a RTA. Yes it was. The last pics are the before and after x rays. Her leg is held in a brace with screws and she needs to be like this for two months at least. What a life this angel has had up until now. She still is as sweet as ever and will deserve a special home once she is better.
