Travellin' Dawgs!

Well, there are 26 dogs on the last bus of the year! That's right, TWENTY SIX!

Our huge gratitude is extended to Team Margarethe and Helga, in Germany who have diligently facilitated adoption or foster for 24 of these dogs. Two are coming to the UK. With our lockdown and also Brexit looming, BMDR UK waits with bated breath to see what next year will bring our dogs. Thank goodness for such a strong and dedicated German adoption network providing a lifeline for our shelter dogs.

BRYAN, now Bertie was rescued from the street by our fellow rescuer, Coca N. He is coming to the UK. ELEVEN abandoned pups and ONE wee dog are heading from Coca Coman's shelter in Calarasi to new homes or foster in Germany. COLIN, from Dorohoi, rescued by Claudia from the street where he was starving and scared. CORA - oh my! This boxer cross darling old lady has been in our shelter for four years after her owner gave her up. Now going to her very own family in Germany. Little ELENA was found in our village. HERA, the husky, went to a great home in Romania from the public shelter but her owner is so very ill. Lucky for Hera she has a second chance in Germany. HOPE, well you know! IRENE, black fluffy puppy is on her way to Glasgow for foster. She had a broken leg when we found her. She is all fixed now. Little JUNIPER waited at the gate of our village house after her owner abandoned her. MAGIC has finally left our shelter after two years waiting from when we took him to safety from the ps. Super lad. SELENA was also saved from Coca N from the street. SYLVIE as rescued by Claudia and Cosmin in Dorohoi. Little TRISHA - that sweet tiny fluffball that Claudia found in the road dodging traffic, goes home. TUCA is a dear old dog whose owner died and left Tuca and her cat friend. The family asked us for help as no one lived close. Both are now adopted and safe. VALENTINE was skin and bone when Claudia found him.

Have the best lives dear dogs, you are the lucky ones. We love you and are so glad to have been part of your journey to a better life.
