Damara, July 2017

Damara, July 2017

Damara came to us from another shelter after she had been attacked by some of the other dogs in her pen. Her ears were shredded and she had multiple wounds on her neck. After she had been rushed to the vet in Bucharest by her rescuer, she needed somewhere safe to come to, out of the brutal heat of the summer sun. Her ears bear the evidence of the attack. Still, she is so easy going with the other dogs at the village house, playing and having fun wit them every day.

Damara is a gentle soul. She is very sweet with Aura and Gea who care for her. She is shy but with a wagging tail with new people. Damara would need another dog in the home to lean on for the transition. She needs a quiet house with people who can give her the time needed to get used to another change in her life.
