George, born 2012
Our lad George has come through his treatment for dirofilaria - heartworm - and is so ready to be someone’s dog. He was so happy to come out his pen for some attention that he refused to go back in. The shelter team have let him hang out in their hut, where he now has a bed and he can be free to wander around during the day. George now needs the next step where he can quietly move into a home for the first time in his life. We took him from the dog catchers in 2017. He was most likely a chain dog before abandonment. His teeth are so worn down at the front. George is average size, maybe 53cms to the shoulder. He may do better with another calm dog in the home, though in a super savvy home, perhaps could be an only.
