Jenna, small, 2015, Lanarkshire. Updated.

Jenna came to the UK in Spring 2016, when she was an older pup. Jenna had been happily adopted since then until May 23, when her adopter was in touch to surrender her.  Sadly, the cost of living crisis had hit and Jenna was being left long hours at home.

Jenna is at home with our super-foster Lynn. What a change in this little dog! Jenna had previously been fostered elsewhere, but it had been hard for her. Lynn's experience and gentle approach has been just what Jenna needed.  She thinks being an only dog is the ideal for Jenna, to be someone's wee pal.  But for now, with Lynn's sensitivity to what Jenna needs,  Jenna is doing so well living in a multi-dog household.  The other dogs respect Jenna's space, she keeps her own place, and this is working well.  Often, Jenna will spend some time next door, getting cuddles and some one on one time with a friendly neighbour. She really loves this, being someone's special dog.

Jenna is JRT sized with a slightly longer body - typical Romanian shaped, where not all the bits seem to match. After her walks and local forays, Jenna is happy to curl and sleep. She is curious about life but not high energy.  She is quite into mousing in the  long grass and purportedly would chase cats in her previous home, so cats are proably a nono, unless an adopter had really good experience of working through this.
