Louie is a firm favourite of all the volunteers to our shelter. We think he looks like a modified Golden Retriever! Louie was rescued by a friend of ours but he had heartworm. He has now been treated for this and is now testing negative. Louie is a very sweet natured dog with everyone he has met so far. 
He is not very big but he is long. We believe Louie could live as an only dog, providing someone was home with him most of the time. He would need a network of doggy pals to meet up with. He is a happy chap. 
Louie is around 44 cms to the shoulder and weighs 17 kg ish.
