Baba was living in a field out in the open. We think she may have been a shepherd dog who was abandoned after getting too old to do her job. Someone had made her a cover for the wet days and when an association was passing through doing free neutering, she was brought to be operated.
Baba had a huge mammary tumour. The vet who spayed her removed this. A woman from the village said she would look after her but that arrangement didn’t last long and she came into our care. Baba has free access to the front open area of the shelter. If it is wet, she can go inside and have a comfy bed but she likes to sleep on the soft earth. She can be a little grumpy with people she doesn’t know but you know, she loves Ion and Romeo!
