Barny - the dog found in a horrific condition on New Year’s Day - was at the vet’s surgery today. He is a very scared boy and was likely in a lot of pain and discomfort due to the horrible matts in his coat. The shelter team couldn’t get hold of him to examine him properly, so he needed to be sedated by the vet.
It took a few hours and several pairs of hands, but finally Barny was looking more comfortable!
He will be very tired and bewildered for a day or two, but we hope to be able to show you a much happier dog very soon.
